Tocino (Citrus Pork)

  • 2 lb. pork, sliced into chunks
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp San Juan blend
  • 1/2 cup orange juice


  1. Grab a bowl, place pork, and all other ingredients. Mix and coat well all over the pork. Allow marinating for an hour.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, place your pork. Pour in 2 cups of water. Bring the mixture to boil and cook until meat is tender and sauce is thickened.
